Vespa, Mail Truck, and well, Tiny Town Truck

Just picture very narrow streets, stone walls that are many stories high, people walking on these narrow streets along with the cars and bicycles and you will understand the next four pictures. This is how the Italians travel in the city. If I lived here, I would own a Vespa and a Fiat!

As we headed up the street we saw a tiny truck! Yes, all you Texans and farm owners, this is an honest to goodness truck used in the town of San Gimignano.

The Vespa is a scooter which you see in every city here. In the larger cities there are hundreds of them, in Florence there are thousands!

And not to be forgotten is the faithful Florence Mailman doing his job. Remember - picture those narrow streets and very tiny parking spaces although this street just happens to be a wide one there are many narrow ones in this city.

Just in case you can't tell how little this is, Riccardo got a quick photo before the mailman drove away.

I love it, everything is my size for getting around!!! Hmmm, a Fiat is looking pretty tempting for our next car.
