Most of these plates are antipasti and we would share a plate and then share a pasta dish.
This was all sea food and many of these we had never eaten before, not even sure what all we ate.
This was a sliced roast beef salad with potatoes, arugula, and shaved truffles on top.
This was a dish of local Tuscany cheeses with fruit compotes to dip them in.
Such a variety on this plate from frittata, salami, cheese, salmon, cooked chestnuts and a rice dish with cream sauce. They also serve lard ( like our bacon but all fat and cured slightly but basically raw), that we did not care for.
Needless to say we eat well. Breakfast is very light: croissant and caffè. Lunch is light and then big dinner around 7:30 or 8:00 when the ristorante opens up. If we had a big lunch we eat a famous Italian pizza or just get a small antipasti for dinner. Good thing we are walking so much!!
