Most of these were taken on Day 2 of our trek. This portion of the Via Francigena was simply incredible for beauty and variety. Riccardo will be posting pictures to show this as well as Day 3. However, it also was difficult for me because I am not used to the uphill and downhill after living where it is so flat. I was very ready for a day of rest. We rested in Viverone for a full day.
This is a blog following Dick and Denise (Riccardo and Daniela) on their adventures along the Via Francigena in Italy. "All roads lead to Rome."

Don't over do it :) looks beautiful!
I know, we took a bus the next day to shave off seven miles. We have now rested for a day, ridden the train for a day and still have one more day of train ride with a short walk before starting our 10 miles a day again.
